TDKillen's Blessed Spawnings

Description
This is a port of TDKillen's masterful mod from Game 2 that, using the Greenskin upgrade system, gave Blessed Spawnings a wide variety of upgrade choices, each based around one of the Old Ones: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2561327523 I have requested permission to port this and my request hasn't been denied, but if they request I remove this from the workshop, I will do so.

I have simply ported this mod to Game 3 while tweaking a few things here and there to take advantage of new mechanics in the Game.

There are Nine Blessings in total, with each Lizardmen vanilla subfaction having access to a Greater Blessing. The Blessings and their abilities (with the corresponding subfaction for the Greater Blessing) are as follows:

Chotec: Grants Perfect Vigour and Flaming Attacks; the Greater Blessing imbues the non-standard Flammable contact effect found with Dragonback Slayers, Hexoatl.

Itzl: Increases a unit's Charge Bonus by 20 and their mass by 30%, furthermore units are immune to rampage and have the Ogre Charge attribute; the Greater Blessing increases the Charge Bonus by 30 and the mass by 50%, units also remove the Stalk attribute from enemies within a 300m radius, Last Defenders.

Sotek: Grants Frenzy and the Sotek's Poison Contact Effect (the DoT that is used by Ark of Sotek Bastiladons); the Greater Blessing substitutes Sotek's Poison with Sotek's Curse which deals double the damage and adds the same debuff as Poison, Cult of Sotek.

Tepok: Grants Magical Attacks, 40% Spell Resistance, a 600 point barrier, and increases Speed by 20%; the Greater Blessing has these values at 60%, 1000, and 30% respectively in addition to a single use of a Bound Overcast Urannon's Thunderbolt, Tlaqua.

Quetzal: Grants a 20% Ward Save with 50 additional Armor; the Greater Blessing increases the Ward Save to 30% and grants a rechargeable Invulnerability, Spirit of the Jungle.

Tzalcotl: Grants the attributes Expert Charge Defense, Charge Reflection, Unbreakable, and a 20% Missile Resistance; the Greater Blessing increases the Missile Resistance to 30% and adds a toggleable ability granting half-speed regeneration, 30% Missile Block Chance, 30 Armor, and 10 Melee Defense at the cost of being able to move, Itza.

Huanchi: Grants a unit Woodsmen, Stalk, and Snipe. The Greater Blessing upgrades Woodsmen to Strider, gives Devastating Flanker, and makes a unit Unspottable, Ghosts of Pahaux.

Xokha: Grants 20% Weapon Strength (both melee and missile) and reduces upkeep by 50%. No Greater Variant

Tzunki: Grants Strider, Regeneration, and a 60% Flame Resistance (though technically only 40% after taking into account the weakness of Regeneration), also Melee Attack is increased by 15 when fighting at sea.

As a trade-off the Blessed Spawnings lose the little bonuses they enjoy here and there, save for slightly increased HP over their unblessed counterparts.

Assuming the scripts from the original mod still work, the Blessed Spawnings should be somewhat more plentiful than they are in the base game.

A big thanks to Dirty Dan and those who worked with him to enable a scroll function in the upgrade UI.

Warning: If you are using this mod with my Oxyotl's Poisons mod, then any Blessings that imbue Contact effects (Greater Chotec and both variants of Sotek) will override the varied contact effects of the different ammo choices.

Cool mod!

Blessing of Sotek is way OP thou. As one unit of skinks with it is capable of melting down half of enemy's army. I've had three chameleon skins defeating full stacks with relative ease using this blessing. Not leaving much of a challenge when playing, but pretty enjoyable for a while :)

Blessed spawned units can have all blessing stacked on them. Normal units only can get one. RoR units can't get any, which makes them obsolete.

Let me check that out on Monday and I'll hopefully be able to resolve that issue.

Love your mod but unfortunately since last update with the scrap UI mode it doesn't work correctly. I can select all the blessing for one single unit! It is a bug or Iam missing something?

Do it. After all, if there are free improvements, why not use them. But in the middle of the game you realize that for you there weren’t even strong opponents like current ones(

Yeah part of that is owning to how this mod was originally just meant to be applied to the actual Blessed Spawnings and hence it was a free upgrade. But given how I've added submods to include virtually every lizardmen unit both vanilla and modded, I should probably change that.

For some reason, all the improvements are free. You can take all the upgrades. A skink turns into a death machine)))

Sure I can whip up a submod for this. A bit tired to do it now, but sometime this weekend, Monday at the latest.

Do you think we could get a sub-mod for this gem if time allows? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3383322996

Also, all the submods should work just fine since those merely address what units have access to upgrades and that table is unchanged.

Alright first updated mod of the day. Please be aware that you now need the Scrap Upgrade UI Framework courtesy of BAGHolder. There might be some visual issues, but since it's all just UI, the upgrades should apply correctly.
