Vanilla Modular Station Project
...if vanilla isn't enough vanilla for you!


This project was a great personal desire and took a lot of work to create. The reason for this project was a nuisance: I wanted to build a train station between individual lanes of the motorway. While this is possible in the base game, it doesn't look good.


Bring your transport system to a new level!
You can now build modular train and metro stations with the Vanilla Modular Station Project. The package includes 6 ground platforms (3 for metro, 3 for trains) as well as various footbridges and station buildings. You can find all elements in the train and in the metro tab! Placing platforms, bridges, etc. works without any modifications!

Please note the following information:
(see also the pictures above!):

The modular station project includes normal platforms on the left and right of the tracks. Island platforms will be released separately in future expansions.

- All elements are oriented towards the zoning, you don't need any mods to place!
- All elements require a road connection to build them.
- Station buildings require a permanent road connection.
- Ground Platforms do not require a permanent road connection.
- Pedestrian bridges require a permanent road connection, (normal footpaths do not make connections (vanilla).

Where can I find this in game?

- Platforms and station buildings: Metro and Train Tab
- Pedestrian bridges: Metro Tab (!)

Last but not least...
This is my first big asset. My skills are just beginning. I spent many hours testing all modules for functionality. Do the citizens reach the platform? Are the paths okay for pedestrians? Every modder who creates assets knows that testing takes a lot of time. And sometimes you can't see the wood for the trees! :-) Please understand that mistakes happen (and will be corrected as soon as possible).


The metro station in the basic game served as a template for the platforms.
Optimized for Loading Screen Mod. You're crazy if you don't use this one! ;-)

This is a great asset pack, but the buildings are unreasonably cheap. Using one building and one platform, the equivalent of the vanilla train station, costs only 20% to build, 50% to maintain, and causes only 60% of noise in 60% radius. Some of it is even not consistent with itself, e.g. CT-NR costs 10% of CT-WR, so it looks like costs slipped through the cracks. I ended up editing them locally to fix that.

yeah they should have given you a ccp then that japan stuff no one uses only people from japan this is way way better.

wich tram road and tram way are you using what i see in picture 7, left corner gravel style tram 1 way road? would love to have that one
