Civilization Mod Pack

Description
This mod combines 9 different civilization/race mods. None of the civilizations are playable but add extra life to your worlds. Also all civilizations site populations have been slightly increased.

Hobgoblins will come with trade caravans in the Spring
Erinyes will come to trade in Summer
Borths will come to trade in the Autumn
Nillians will come to trade in the Winter
Orcs attack year round and are always Hostile
Gnoll's, Ratfolk, Naga, and Ixthid are all ambushers, meaning they can ambush your fortress any season. If you make war with them they have a specific season they attack you in.
Ixthid's will attack in spring
Naga will attack in summer
Ratfolk will attack in Autumn
Gnolls will attack in winter

just fought some orcs and, warning for anybody playing this, they are absolutely busted; they're strong enough to rip your dwarves' arms off, significantly tougher than goblins and humans

I'd recommend a spear and shield to try to keep them off your people more, in addition to armor of course

@Ace of Cats - Yes, I have used DF in proton before. The linux version runs much faster, and is not worth giving up for a couple mods with capitalization errors, in my opinion. I'm now using most of the races individually, with linux incompatible mods (and OP races) removed.

Question: Are the traders on top of the existing elf, human, and dwarf traders? Like will I get traders for both Borths AND dwarfs in autumn?

Mechanos have you tried using steam compatibility mode, you have to enable it in the settings in the top left.
1. Click Steam (has the steam symbol next to it top left)
2. Options
3.Compatibility
4. Enable for supported titles and for all other titles, set run other titles with ( Proton experimental)

5. Right click on dwarf fortress
6. Select properties
7. select compatibility
8. Force it to use a certain compatibility tool (Proton Experimental)

9. Steam will have to download certain things and reload.

Found out my issue. The mod "Additional Races: Ixthid" is currently broken in linux. More info about it can be found on it's workshop page.

@Mechanos, I had the exact same thing happen last night.
I think its an interaction with another mod somehow (I've got quite a lot of mods.... ). Moving this above all the UI graphics mods fixed it for me

Is this still working? I tried to generate a new world with this last night, and my DF froze up while loading the graphics for this mod. However, I was also testing the linux version of DF, so that could have been the issue as well. I'm considering testing each of these race mods individually to see if that makes a difference.

Hello! As I can see, your new civs can do ambushes.
Is there a way to make the default goblin civ to be ambushers again? Currently they only siege (or thieve).

@Mimi_Tzu You can trade with the hobgoblins, nillians , borths, and Erinyes. They all have the ability to visit and join civilizations.
