Description
Built for Weightworks aircraft build challenge which has rules such as adding certain number of weight blocks to represent realistic engine, fuel, crew and passenger weights and you are invited; https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2956823680

FEATURES & NOTES
📌 Go.6 Stork was built as single engined long range monoplane by Goldwing Aeronautica. Slim and long fuselage was found too cramped by passengers especially in long flights but still had the luxury of being in enclosed cabin unlike the pilot sit in open cockpit. Unbraced cantilever wings were considered advanced in an era dominated by biplanes.

📌 300 minutes of endurance required 2 pilots and carrying nearly 2000 liters of fuel made the Go.6 Stork heavy. Don't expect quick takeoff from short runway. Landing can also be damaging if not being done gently.

📌 You may want to increase propeller after takeoff to cruise setting.
📌 When altitude or direction hold is enabled, stabilizer automatically activates.
📌 Holding the Down key while on ground will put the aircraft on reverse mode.

Recon,
Yes, but probably not a replica.

Did you think about build planes like dc-3, dc-4 or dc-6?

oh alr

masoon?,
Do you mean how quick?
I made the six (Goldwing) airplanes and the weightworks competition in the last 5 weeks. Airplanes use similar logic btw.

how are you pumping out all these planes
Thales  [author] 18 Apr, 2023 @ 7:57pm
It is better to keep throttle at max always, and adjust propeller to increase/decrease engine RPS.
Kezrah 18 Apr, 2023 @ 7:32pm
OK, that makes sense, I believe I had the throttle and propeller on max

Kezrah,
No, it looks like cooler pump couldn't keep engine temperature below critical point at max speed settings when flying in south where air temp is higher. Adjusting propeller to 0.4 for cruise speed is advised after takeoff. Max engine power is required for takeoff due to heavy weight.

uhh, I was flying over Biba volcano, about to go over the lava, and the engine caught on fire, do you think this was because of the lava or does it tend to overheat?
