rites for the Dawi Zharr! - an Hashutism brotherhood mod

Description
Presentation

With the introduction to the chaos dwarfs to the playable races, CA has sinken to a new low: no ritual game mechanics for our little guys!
You heard me right, the people of CA do not consider hashutism as a valid form a religion nor hashut as a deiti.
This is one of the most despicable form of prejudice a video game company has ever made.

My mod is made in solidarity with the sons of Hashut with the stated goal to make hashutism an official religion.

My mod add a ritual button at the bottom right of the interface where you can spend 1000 gold + 20 influence (or 500 materials in a specific case) to perform a rite.

All rituals have great benefits but also incorporate a big penalty.
Like the wise man from tilea said: No sacrifice, No victory - Optimus primeus

4 rites are available:

- Hashut's Wrath allow you to capture many many "labborers" in the service of hashut. Your armies will however have a big trouble recruting due to an over extention of the supply lines.
Last 5 turns, available next in 10 turns, cost 1000 gold 20 influence.

- Hashut's Calling allow you to recruit more people in the legion, especially binding demons and K'daai units. Your sorcerers being busy binding demons to hashut, little time will be spared for civic and economic development.
Last 5 turns, available next in 10 turns, cost 1000 gold 20 influence.

-Zharr Naggrund blood ritual allow your armies to field better quality guns and armors allowing them to perform better in battle. The industry being focus on higher military quality output, the civic side of the industry will suffer.
Last 5 turns, available next in 10 turns, cost 1000 gold 20 influence.

-The build back better plan is an economic bill made by joe the ancient that allow you to build the infrastructure of your factories and tower at the expenses of the outposts. Also recruitment will be an issue due to the labor shortage.
Last 5 turns, available next in 10 turns, cost 1000 gold 500 building materials.

Update1: I reworked the values of the rites to make it less powerfull.
I think i like this balance quite a bit
Also The blood ritual is now a perfect oportunity to develop Outpost settlement buildings.

A: Available unlocked from start (as long as you have the gold/influence/materials)

A: It is probably compatible with a wide range of other mods, I tried to make it as small and compatible as possible. Any other mod adding ritual to the chaos dwarves will raises isssues.

Q: Did it take long to make this mod ? Do you have a lot of free time ?
A: Got bit by a horse, am at home recovery and playing strategic game

A: got bit at my right arm, can't use it

Q: Are you right-handed ?
A: yes

Q: Did you type this whole Q&A section by yourself ?
A: yes

Q: Is this mod an adaptation from the rites mechanics for the warhammer 2 factions?
A: No, absolutely not!

A: 6, campaign_group_members, campaign_group_rituals, rituals_tables, ritual_payloads_tables and ritual_payload_effects_bundles.

A: Yeah, do your thing dude! No permission required you know. Peace and love.

Q: what are your favorites factions ?
A:
- in WH1 my least fav fac where BRETONIA because horse riding is lame
- in WH1 my fav fac where the EMPIRE because they have guns and warrior priests!
- in WH2 my least fav fac where the LIZARDMEN because lizard riding lizard is not only lame but also very .. joyfull.
- in WH2 my fav fac where the SKAVEN because they have warp-guns and warp-machines like the doomwheel with no horses! And Ikkit-claw is cute AF!
- in WH3 my least fav fac is KISLEV because they do bear riding witch introduces big ethical concerns regarding animals rights and might result in the involvment of P-E-T-A.
- in WH3 my fav fac ARE the DAWI ZHARR because they have guns and steam-powered machines AND they have bull-centaur autonomous intelligent cav !!!!

hi morg,

I played the mod myself did not noticed anything wrong with the rite

NEG - increase recruitment cost
NEG - increase Outpost building cost
POS - reduce other buildings cost
POS - reduce build time

I might update the mod fairly soon with a rebalance update - if you could provide more clear explaination of what s wrong would be very nice.

I found a bug, for the Build Back Better rite, there are positive effects on the Chorf economy. You might want to change it to properly causing only negative effects.

That would be great!
Yeah the bonuses are quite strong but so does the malus. a 5 turn lasting effect will force you to commit to one specific aspect of your faction for 5 turns before moving on to the next thing.

feedback much apreciated :)

Great stuff! I do think it's quite powerful as stands (Might need a 20 turn refresh) but I'll do a playthrough with it and report back!
