> I modded the old versions of DF to allow cats to use weapons and shields in their tail and mouth. How are these cats using swords and hatchets?
Just the mouth, without the tail. The fact that they only have one grasp of one of the big reasons they're so limited in what tools they can use
> I've been having my cats fish, but they don't seem to be eating. I even started having them make easy meals with the fish (forbidding any non-meat ingredients in the kitchen menu), and they can cook, but they don't eat. They can drink just fine, but food... Hm.

Hm, looking more into the wiki, it looks like fish isn't properly categorized as meat for carnivores. That's my bad, I'll fix the mod description to reflect this. It does seem that egg counts, so if you can get a hold of poultry, that should be able to sustain your fortress. Hunting should also be viable, but I haven't tested it as much as I would like. I'm very busy this week, so my testing time is spread a bit thin, so if that doesn't work I'll have to look into it later.
