The Hunch back is one of the very first first party ships made by Mark n' keel recovery systems commonly known as Mn'k (read:mink), due company conflict Mn'k ships are not allowed/able to install the scofix gravity drives, disallowing for Horizontal gravity, causing them to go back to the old ways of artificial gravity, thus the tower design.

The hunchback lacks no amenities needed for the 2-4 month travel between solar systems including bathrooms,showers, a kitchenette and large living spaces.
