This is my first map. I originally finished it half a year ago, but due to my laziness, I dragged it for nearly two years and didn't finish it. In the end, I didn't really want to do it anymore, so I sent it out hastily

This is the map I created after self-learning for a month. If there are some places that are not well done, please forgive me. After all, I only learn a little and cannot achieve the level of other excellent maps

This map may not meet your expectations. Please carefully consider playing it downstream. If you don't listen to my advice or read this paragraph and then go play it, and then say how my map is, then I have nothing to say. Of course, this map does have many flaws. I try to repair it, try to be perfect, but the more I pursue perfection, there are more areas that I cannot repair, and there are more flaws, So this also became the last straw that crushed my desire to continue making my map

If I still have the intention to make my map in the future, I will also finish the last level and add the content of the abandoned case in the fifth level


Main topic

This map is a replica of my self-made metalslug series map. However, due to my limited production ability and various adverse limitations of the mapping software, many ideas were unable to be realized and I was forced to compromise and modify them into a compensation plan that I had imagined myself

This map still has bugs that make me feel very mentally challenged until the final test version is completed. I haven't fixed them yet, but I don't want to fix them anymore. If you find them, make good use of them or avoid them

If you want to fully experience the entire process of the map, it is recommended that you create a cooperative mode or a single person mode room for playing. After testing, it has been found that there are many inexplicable bugs and unclear instructions when playing this map on multiple servers. I cannot fix this, please forgive me

Why do I have to make 5 instead of the classic 3 in the metalslug series?

Firstly, the production cost and difficulty of Level 3 are very high. Apart from the second level, which is basically a design difficulty, let alone the various adverse limitations of the map making software for L4D2, which makes it even more difficult to achieve

Why do I make 5? Because I like the entire series of metalslug works, especially 3 and 5. The difficulty of implementing 3 is high, so I make 5. Moreover, the BGM of the metalslug5 is the best work in the entire series, and other series works cannot match the classic score of the metalslug5 (only for personal opinion)

The plot of this map is as follows: The 4-person group on L4D2 contacts a pilot who can lead them to escape from this land of rights and wrongs. The original plan was to meet in an open space around the forest near the Yamaruins, but due to the pilot's choice to leave and abandon the 4-person group after seeing too many enemies at the reception point, the 4-person group had to cross the Yamaruins and seek their own way out. Along the way, they passed through the airlinefactory and found a plane that had escaped from the heavens.However, due to a sneak attack by an ace fighter jet sent by the tank troops midway, the plane was exhausted and forced to land. After landing, they were arrested by a mysterious assassin organization. After a period of time, the group of four discovered that there was no movement outside, so they launched an escape plan to find a sewer that could escape from this place. The sewer led to an unknown building coast, A group of four found a submarine near the coast and followed the submarine's guidance to a underseabase. There is a car in a warehouse at the underseabase that can escape from here... (If the fifth level is not completed, the corresponding plot will not be mentioned)
