Here is the ferry MS Estonia (and her past liveries)!


She was originally built as the MS Viking Sally for the Viking Line in 1980. She served with the Viking Line until 1990 when she was transferred to Viking's rivals Silja Line and renamed her Silja Star. Just one year later, she was handed over to the Wasa Line and renamed to Wasa King. Finally, in 1993 she was sold off to Estline and renamed Estonia. Because she was the largest Estonian-owned ship at the time, she was named Estonia in honor of the nation's independence from the Soviet Union. On September 28th, 1994, while crossing the Baltic Sea, the ship's bow visor broke off. Water quickly rushed into the ship's car deck, and with listing caused by poor cargo distribution, caused the ship to list violently until she capsized. Out of the 989 onboard, 852 were killed, making Estonia one of the worst peacetime maritime disasters in history. She is also one of the worst disasters of any European ship, and to this day remains the worst peacetime maritime disaster to occur in European waters.
