Record Setting Plane

Backstory
After the Great War, warplanes were no longer in demand while the civilian aviation market was exploding. The golden age of aviation had begun. Air races were held, speed, altitude, and distance records were constantly being set and improved upon. In an effort to promote the company, PingWorks decided to begin a campaign of taking on flight records.

Built for Speed
While the C.1 Moth was built during peacetime, it was born out of war. It was based on blueprints that were left over from the war effort. Engineers repurposed designs that had been discarded and created the Moth. It looked like a fighter plane and flew like one. Even the seat was lowered as part of an effort to streamline the airframe as much as possible. By using the most powerful engine they could find, engineers ended up creating one of the fastest planes ever built up to that point. It was over 50 kph faster than most other single engine aircraft.

Startup

(1) Flip the "ON" and "Cooling" switches
(2) Once the engine is started, throttle up to 35% for taxi
(3) Full power for takeoff. Once the plane begins to gently pitch forward, pull back slowly to achieve full flight
