the new shepard is a sub-orbital rocket, that carries passengers and cargo up into space. the real rocket runs on hydrogen, as hydrogen as a fuel does not exist in the game this one runs on RP-1, rocket fuel.

1 extends the landing legs for landing, 2 locks them in place. it also has a fully functioning abort system on clicking backspace.

FLIGHT events. 1 fly upwards until the main fuel tank has 500 liquid fuel left, decouple the main pod, switch to it with the [ key and activate the parachutes, switch back to the booster using the same key, and land it manually (or use mechjebs landing guidance for perfect automatic landings) click one to open landing legs just before touching down. and lock them in place using 2.

1.2 patch notes removed an unneeded fuel tank, fixed the landing gear deploying problem, and removed an unneeded heat shield that was causing the upper stage to explode.
