Sorry, that does not compute.
The Stargate is designed for interplanetary and interstellar travel, it cannot work on short distances, because the symbols of the gate address would be the same in close proxmimity of other nearby gates.
That is, why - in Stargate SG1 - the russian and antarctic gates won't work properly in parallel to the gate within the Cheyenne Mountain Complex.
For those of us who use multiple mods, that will be a problem.
