the Saturn one block one was a predecessor to the Saturn 5, it was used 10 times to carry small payloads to LEO (low earth orbit) but was mainly used to test launch escape systems for the Apollo missions.
it was also considered for use as a missile.

the third stage was never actually used, but it is included here.
mechjeb gets confused with this one.
