Description
Difficulty: Medium-Hard

Welcome to Forbearance! Carefully plan as you control your funnel, laser, and two cubes.

As usual, no cube throws, ninja moves, angled lasers through portals, or anything else difficult to execute is required to complete the puzzle, only brains. Additionally, it is not intended to flip a laser cube on its back, or to make any sort of vertical lasers. There are also shutdown delayers on cube dropper connections to prevent spamming/double queueing.

This map was initially inspired by SteemStream's Covert, which reminded me of an idea that I had a while back but never got around to implementing. That idea is now a small part of a complex puzzle which I am very happy with.

Excellent map! I really like the use of the funnel — as a restriction to force the first sequence, and for that move . Really interesting that many ideas from Covert remain but are forced in a different way (at least I think they are; my memory may be a bit inaccurate). Faved :love_seagull:

Really fun map! I had a little spoiler that I remembered seeing some comment about funneling a cube to block a laser, or to angle a laser into something, but I wasn't sure if I could be remembering correctly because that sounded weird and I couldn't see where it would be helpful here. So my mind was already looking in that direction, but I was pleasantly surprised by how beautifully it was incorporated. Big thumbs up!

It's crazy, I can see how Covert inspired this but it's still such a different beast. This was truly magnificent. I love funneling the cube into the laser area. It's execution is unique and just feels so good to preform. Oddly enough, it minds me of Hold My Hand's move. For me this is a good balance of creative moves and very intensive, dense logic. I am in love with this one man, truly special. Faved!

I got off to a quick start on this map, and after some thought I also figured out the (relatively lengthy) ending sequence. I knew that I had to connect the red cube dropper area with the entrance area via portals, but realising that funneling the cube into the laser would be the thing to make it work took me FOREVER to see. You could have thrown in that move in an easier map and it would have been cool on its own, but the fact that you managed to incorporate it in such an elaborate puzzle to allow a VERY subtle but key puzzle state is just insane, no idea how you did it. Best map I've played in a long time.

Ah man, it took me an embarrassingly long time to realize I needed both cubes up above the entrance, and then some more to see the funnel move. Outstanding puzzle, favorited!

Super cool puzzle!! I was able to solve the first half of the puzzle to where I had both cubes inside the laser area and was free to play around. Then I worked backwards from the exit condition and figured out the exact places I needed each cube, and I was then left thinking for a few minutes until I spotted the key move. Really inventive! While I had deduced the respawn near the end of the solution, I was surprised to figure out that I needed one for the middle too! It's kind of funny seeing this sort of super-clean layout facilitate a more "wacky" move :) Great work!
