Ah sorry i misread your first post with the load order, i thought you meant it had to be loaded before.

This mod edits vanilla creatures so if put in the load order above vanilla_creatures it will break [COPY_TAGS_FROM:DEER] and [SELECT_CREATURE:DEER]
[DOES_NOT_EXIST]
It's not an issue since it requires effort to mess the load order up and only reverts to vanilla deer but if you ever make a new update adding [REQUIRES_ID_BEFORE_ME:vanilla_creatures] to the info file would make it idiot proof.
In the testing area atleast both castes have spots, and im not able to replicate the load order issue and it shouldnt be a problem as i have it set to replace the deer entirely rather than load its graphics before the originals.
But i did never patched this after the baby graphics update, ill patch that now but im unable to replicate the other issues.

Load order actually does matter with this mod but I doubt anyone would put in all the effort to load it before vanilla creatures for no good reason.
