Description
Trish Stratus returned to the WWE in 2022 for a special appearance, only to be interrupted by Damage CTRL. Trish teamed up with then- WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Becky Lynch and Lita at WrestleMania 39 several months later in a winning effort.

Shortly after WrestleMania, Lita was attacked backstage prior to a title match. Trish stepped in to defend the Women's Tag Team belts alongside Lynch, only to turn on her partner after they lost the match and the belts. Trish later revealed that she had attacked Lita herself and kicked off a feud with Lynch.
