Description
The legend is back!

The Powell Sport Wagon was a pickup (despite being called a wagon) that was produced by the Powell Motor Company between the years of 1954 to 1957. The Sport Wagon was built on the refurbished chassis of 1941 Plymouth, scavenged from junk yards throughout California. It also used refurbished six-cylinder Mopar engines (YEH TEAM CHRYSLER). Other parts were scavenged off of old forklifts, crazily enough (and the chrome was scraped off of old Fords. Talk about mish-mash).

Another fun thing to note is that this is often considered to be the first crossover, since it was a pickup based off of a car, to put it in the most basic of terms.
Of course we know that's completely false. Jeep was obviously first with the Jeepster.

gjritter likes to call this a UTE. Feel free to call him out for that in the comments.

I really need to find one of these in real life, not sure if I want a wrecked one so I can restomod it, or a nicely restored stock one.

It's the worlds cheapest vehicle of the time, the base was just under 1,000, surely you can spend an extra 100 or so and get a tailgate?
