Mission Briefing: Operation Spartan Liberation

Objective:
Your squad has been tasked with taking control of the island of Stratis, which has been occupied by enemy forces. The mission is to eliminate all enemy combatants on the island that you come across, secure key strategic locations, and establish a foothold for further military operations.

Situation:
The south of the island of Stratis is currently under the control of enemy forces, including infantry, armoured vehicles, and possibly aircraft. The enemy has established defensive positions throughout the island, including a number of fortified strongholds, and has laid minefields and other obstacles to impede any assault.

Friendly forces have secured the northern coast of the island and captured the airfield, and will be providing fire support for the duration of the operation. The contact line runs through the centre of the island.

Execution:
Your squad will be form up at the Stratis Airport. From there, you will need to move quickly to secure key objectives, including enemy anti-air installations, and other strategic locations.

Be prepared to face heavy resistance from enemy forces, including infantry and armoured vehicles. Use cover and terrain to your advantage, and stay alert for any ambushes or counterattacks.

You will also need to watch out for minefields and other obstacles, which can slow your progress and make you vulnerable to enemy fire, most have been marked but we can not confirm this to be sure.

Once you have secured the key objectives and eliminated all enemy forces on the island, hold your ground and establish a defensive perimeter to prevent any enemy counterattacks.

Equipment:
Your squad will be equipped with standard issue weapons and equipment, including rifles, grenades, and other necessary tools. If we can establish aerial dominance then we may be able to establish air support.

Remember to use your equipment wisely, and conserve ammunition and supplies whenever possible.

Conclusion:
The success of this mission depends on your ability to work together as a team, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing circumstances on the battlefield. They say the island was once host to a Greek temple to Aries, may he be on your side. Stay focused, stay alert, and stay alive. Good luck.
