Durability Regen

This mod adds a new station, the Tek Durability Regenerator, which can regenerate the durability of any item you put in its inventory. This mod is a deep meta changer, it aims at fixing a core gameplay problem while still maintaining a certain balance. This mod is clean and stackable, and it comes with various ini settings.

Durability, a dated gameplay mechanic, a repetitive grindfest that most AAA games have dropped nowaways. In ARK you can craft items of various quality and both the crafting AND REPAIR cost will increase exponentially. But why use a tek or ascended weapon that costs an arm to repair when your dinos can do as much damage for free? Ultimately the poor implementation of the durability mechanics dampens the variety of the gameplay and forces the players to stick to less grindy strategies. Likewise many players prefer lower tiers of armor over ascended, because they know any damage on ascended gear will cost an arm to repair. What's the point of higher quality tier if players are too scared to use them? Tired yet of repairing your Oxygen Tank, Gas Mask or Hazard Suit?

With this mod you can finally play ARK the way it should be played, without worrying about the repair cost. You no longer have to warehouse tons of duplicate replacement of the same gear, you can stick to your best gear. This mod does not completely scrap the durability mechanics and maintains a certain balance. Your items can still break so you still have to be careful with your gear.

Craft a Tek Durability Regenerator (Level 100 Engram, costs 0 point)
Put your used items in the Tek Durability Regenerator to slowly regenerate their durability.
Regen rate can be set in the server configuration.
Broken items won't be repaired, although this can be changed in the server configuration.

The Tek Durability Regenerator is powered by Element Dust.
The Tek Durability Regenerator is crafted in the player inventory with resources harvested from Tek dinos corpses (Element Dust, Scrap Metal, Electronics, Oil)

DurabilityRecoverPerSeconds (default 0.33) - specifies durability points regenerated per second
MaxInventorySlots (default 15) - specifies number of inventory slots
DisableFuelConsumption (default False) - specifies if fuel is required to run
AllowRepairBrokenEquipments (default False) - specifies if can repair broken items
RemoveGrindRestriction (default False) - allow remove Grind Restriction from weapons, armors or saddles
