1 - Can you add the mod, fool around with it with a Custom faction, and then delete if it isn't what I was looking for? Some mods kinda overwrite a lot of stuff, making them tricky to remove.
2 - Do Free Cities (I never play with Random factions) end up with really odd random fashion? Or are they handled separately? They already often look bad as it is.
Thanks.
1) You've added almost every part of the new Feudal plate armor to the mod; Torso, Arms, Waist, Skirt and Feet. The only exception is the Legs covering the upper legs not covered by Feet.
Any particular reason they aren't included?
2) Feudal has an old helmet decorated with a Dragon/Snake head and a plume. Would you be willing to add that ornamentation to a future update? LTCU combined that with the Keeper's Helm for its Noble Knight unit, and I think that combination could look cool on heroes as well.
So, basically, this works not only with feet, but all of the selections that turn off, when you chose anything but first naked outfit. It still turns off, but parts, that were selected before changing outfits, still persist.
For some reason it didn't work for feet, because it was a slider, apparently (i really don't know why it would work that way). But when i switched it in resourse editor from slider to preview, it not only persists, but unlike every other part, it's model wouldn't lay itself over (how arms do for example and we would have two sets of gloves clipping through each other), but actually switch outfit boots.
So when i did it to Herald of Glory outfit, there were no shards flying, no clipping, just straight up switched boots (which i'm really happy about, cause those peglegs suck)
probably not unless they release the giant rig for modders
@WordBearer94
the outfit+ options should unlock when you pick the "none" outfit in the base game outfit picker. If there's no none outfit or outfit+ then it seems the mod isn't loading, not sure in that case
@HUH?!
I made a guide that's maybe not helpful in the discussions. I'll look at adding that stuff later, but what do you mean by that bug/switching feet selection from slider to preview?
If i'm not asking too much, i have a few question/requests:
1) Do you have any plans for parts of standalone dlc armor, like Archmage attire?
Cause, apparently, if you switch feet selection from slider to preveiw, you can change boots on Herald of Glory set (pls don't fix it btw, i beg you) and it looks so much better this way.
2) And could you please add Blessed Soul armor pieces? I would kill for that torso.
3) Also full body section seems to be missing high culture pikeman torso. I'm using a full outfit version of it with a previously mentioned bug (please don't fix it x2), but it still kinda wonky and periodicaly resets back.
Or maybe there is some kind of a very straightforward guide on how to add parts for AoF? So i would do it myself and not bother you)))
