Description
Ignition Point v2 is a land vehicle project incorporating lessons learned in prior projects, based on my own universe plus nations from a nation RP called TExpo. Ignition Point v2 utilizes a gun convergence method meaning the driver of the vehicle can operate every gun at once, leading to every vehicle only having one seat, though not all vehicles need it. Ignition Point v2 is NOT COMPATIBLE with The Greatest War.

Had a hankering for some Modern US-adjacent vehicles, made these guys over a few weeks. Up next is more Cold War and Interwar content.

Librataris is one of the few superpowers of Ignition Point V2. Heavily inspired by the USA and Third Reich, they're a democratic nation made of fascists, basically. At the beginning of the modern era, facing obsolescence of nigh-every factor of their armored force, they began heavily revamping their military with radical new programs, in order to combat threats to their continued domination over their sphere of influence.

This pack contains:

M82 Jackson
-The stock M82 has decent turret armor, a decent 105mm APFSDS round, 105mm HEAT which does less damage than the APFSDS, and 2 12.7mm MGs.
M82AFI Jackson
-M82AFI improves the turret armor, and replaces the "G1" APFSDS with a more powerful "G4" APFSDS.
M82A1 Jackson
-M82A1 further improves the turret armor, replaces the 105 cannon with a 121mm cannon, and adds a potent high explosive proximity fuse round to its arsenal, at the cost of a significantly longer reload.
-All three M82s are very mobile MBTs, differing only in projectiles and armor.
-M82, M82AFI, and M82A1 all take less damage to the turret, and more damage to the sides and rear.

M85A2 Lionheart
-The M85A2 packs a 55mm belt of APFSDS and APHE, extremely potent against tanks, and 8 120mm ATGMs.
M85A3 Lionheart
-The M85A3 uses a belt of 55mm APFSDS and HE-proximity fuse, which can shred any aircraft with ease, as well as packing 2 182mm ATGMs and 16 70mm AT-SAMs that can be used against aircraft and tanks alike.

-M85A2 and M85A3 are both IFVs, armed with a 55mm chain gun, 5 machine guns, and a host of other weapons.-
-Both M85s are proofed against heavy machine guns and light HE except to the rear.

M183L ATSAM Steadfast
-M183L ATSAM is a light utility car with 2 12.7mm rapid fire machine guns and 32 70mm ATSAMs, same as on M85A3.
-M183L is only proof to small arms, and will get shredded by heavy arms.

M61A1E Knox
-M61A1E is a 1960s MBT updated with explosive reactive armor and the powerful "G4" APFSDS.
-The ERA panels divide oncoming damage by 3, sacrificing themselves in the process. The turret takes less damage than the hull, but the cupola is a major weakspot.

Pro tips:
The M82s are all very weak in the hull, especially the rear. Stay hull down when possible.
The M85s are not heavy vehicles, and will die to tank guns very easily. Do not engage tanks head-on and expect to survive all the time.
M183L is an SPAA that can sort of tank hunt and infantry shred, do not use it like an IFV and stay on the flanks, supporting your team.
M61A1E is not good at brawling, use your powerful APFSDS and stay at range where your cupola is hard to hit, and stay hull down when possible.

None of us can model human skins at this present moment but it is a topic of contention so eventually, probably

do you guys plan on adding human skins? because i really like ignition point yet these anthropomorphic animals kinda kill the vibe
not really hating on it but i thought it would fit everyone if this happened

@bluedream South Scandinavian League is getting a rename soon, but it's vehicles will fall under the Axis, so they'll get released under Axis packs
@local probably not, IPv2 doesn't really have a place for vehicles that can't defend themselves against other ones if you get what I'm saying, it's basically a War Thunder type experience

will M183L have a transport and hmg variant

added a new tank, M61A1E. basically an M60 RISE with M900 (G4 APFSDS) and a slightly slower reload.

Personally I use Vanilla+ weapons and vehicles, they're as close to my balancing system that I've found so far
