UPDATED DEC.25.24 - Updated for Christmas!

Welcome fair travelers, for today we sing of the roar of battle, the thwack of bolts and the thunder of blackpowder.

This mod changes a number of things about several audio mods that I loved from WH2. This mod changes nearly all units in the game to use their in battle chants - where there is audio. Sadly, I can't find any chanting for some of the WH3 factions. The audio effects on some ranged units have been changed to sound meatier, kinda like the thwacking crossbows mod.

⌱ All ranged units have had their audio range increased, so this means you will hear the whistle of arrows through the air and the thunder of cannons from much further away than before.

⌱ All units should use battle chants more frequently.

⌱ Some wimpy sounding units have had their weapon audio swapped for heavier sounds from other units.

⌱ Added Reverb onto all ranged weapons, cus who doesn't like reverb. (This may melt your PC a little bit.)

TL;DR - Battle's sound more epic.

This mod can be enabled or disabled midway through a campaign. Please report any bugs you may find!

Your next step can be to disable all your mods and then only enable to core mods that other mods rely on.

So like Mixer's Startpos, and a few core mods. See if that fixes it. It's also possible you found a vanilla bug.

If that works correctly then add a few more mods, let's say ten more. Write down which ones you added.

Then keep adding ten at a time until you find a set of ten that causes the issue. Then remove from that list of ten kne by one.

It's time consuming, but it works.

@_Zevon I've reinstalled the game from the ground up, disabled every mod, verified the files and re-verified, everything I possibly can do. I've done it all. It doesn't matter if I'm playing the general or not, they have no voice lines when they're selected on the world map, or in battle. I don't get how this can happen.

But then I did have one mod that replaced Slaanesh corruption with Desert corruption, and it kept doing it even after I turned the mod off and deleted it. I guess I'll never know which mod it is on my modlist. I hate to think I'm going to have to delete ALL of my mods, and resubscribe to them.

@GenuinelyEric. I don't think so?? Idk. I can't say for sure. You can disable this mod, and then try selecting the general and see if they are still silent. If they talk, this mod probably caused it.

Is there any chance that this mod would cause generals not to have voice lines when selecting them? I don't know which mod on my list is doing it, but Gorbad Ironclaw and Skulltaker both have lost all lines when selecting their armies. They're totally silent. I'm trying to work out which mod would cause that, but I'm having a tough time of it.

There seems to be a bug with the cathay wardrums, they are totally silent :-(! Is there any fix possible?
