Idk if you still update this mod or not, but I think it would be pretty cool if the mind blast ability for illithids used the beam attack that spells like finger of death use. I think that would not only be better than the overwhelming ear bleed sound of 15 illithid's attacking, but also bring it in line with the more flashier Illithid powers shown in BG3.

Dang, the cyclops issue is definitely a bug, its been long enough that I have no idea why mindblast is a melee weapon lol, I will take a look at the illithid overlord as well. Thanks for the tips

Hi, interesting to see Mindflayers in CoE.
Nice mod.

I found a few bugs:
First with the order of attacks.
The, Illithid Master, Illithid Snake and the Illithid Overlord all have melee attacks in front of their spell weapons. (Don't know why mind blast is a melee weapon in your mod). This means they don't actually use their spells in combat.

Second, the Illithid Overlord isn't actually accessible. The Illithid Master is recruited at ritual level 3. Also the mastery command points to one unit down, which is the Slave Troglodyte. If you want the Illithid Master to promote to the Illithid Overlord you should change the power to 2, and the mastery to 16. If it's just a leftover code, that's ok.

Third, you can't summon Illithid Cyclops as there is a mistake in the ritual text. It should be "1d2*Illithid Cyclops", but it's "1d2Illithid Cyclops". The '*' is missing, causing the unit to never be summoned.

I know it's lore, and it is indeed a fitting addition, but something that can solo 99% of the owerworld AND even generate some stuff to defend the places it takes. is a bit over the board i think. Maybe the immunity to weapons should be removed from it ...

He started off based on brain stealer dragons from 3E, he probably could use some tweaking.

Well made mod, the brain dragon is probably a bit over powered, it can solo 90 of the world map, and generate some defenders for the places it takes in the meantime. I think weapon invulnerability isn't needed on him, that would make other summons interesting to do beside him (in a power curve point of view)

It adds mindflayers from D&D as a faction, it should work with any of my mods and the total overhaul mod, I am unaware of anything it actively conflicts with, but play at your own risk- there is no way I can test for everything or every mod.
