Description
My take on the ground-attack aircraft Henschel Hs-129.

This is an approximation, not a 1:1 replica.

The design of the Hs-129 was relatively effective when it was first introduced and it saw service in Tunisia and on the Eastern Front in a variety of front-line roles, as the war progressed increasingly as an anti-tank support weapon.

This B-1 version in winter camouflage is armed with two 7.92 mm (.312 in) MG 17 machine guns and two 20 mm MG 151 located in the fuselage. (The bulges on the centre fuselage covering the 20 mm cannons is a lot larger than irl due to the massive size of the "heavy" machine guns I use as 20 mm equivalents)
It also carries two 50 kg bombs and it's equipped with Rüstsatz 3/R3 (Rüstsatz, plural Rüstsätze, were field modification kits issued to many types of aricraft adding different weapon systems that could be mounted/dismounted in the field as the situation required) which adds four more MG 17 machine guns in a pod under the fuselage for strafing personnel and unarmoured or lightly armoured vehicles.

Alt controls to fly.
W/S: Variable throttle.
S: Ground brake.
A/D: Ground steering/Yaw.
Up/Down arrows: Pitch.
Left/Right arrows: Roll.
X/Disable steering: Landing gear.
Fire action 1/Num 1: Machine guns and cannons. *
Fire action 2-3/Num 2-3: Bombs.

* The sight is as you can see set off-centre, this was how it was placed on the real plane so you'll need to find the correct aiming spot with some trial and error.

** As always the German winter camouflage with it's intricate and/or airbrushed patterns and blotches don't really work in the game so I've used their base colours for a simpler pattern.

NOTE!
The flight characteristics of this plane are a bit... floaty and a little weird somehow, but I've done my best to trim it reasonably well.
