Simple Storage Retexture

I probably won't update this mod anytime soon, too much stuff broke because of the changes in the original mod and I have too little time. There is a port of the textures to the Adaptive Storage Framework by vin over here


This is a partial retexture of the mod [JDS] Simple Storage. I love the variety that Simple Storage gives me for all my Storage needs, but the Textures, both in quality and style, are all over the place. I wanted to go over a few of the buildings which I like most or which I thought had the most wasted potential. The main goal was to create a more cohesive look and give the buildings a bit more character. Hope you enjoy the new textures.

This is my first mod, even if it's just a retexture there is a possibility that I did something wrong. Everything should work fine, but please leave a comment if you have any problems.

If you have a specific storage building, which isn't already covered, you want to see retextured, leave a comment and I'll at least take a look.

If you have any problems please report them here, though if you have any visual bugs not accompanied by errors in your log, please reinstall the mod first. Steam sometimes messes updates up, alternatively if you use Rimpy and its optimize textures feature, old DDS files can apparently cause problems. Reinstalling makes sure it's neither of these.

Integrated Deep Storage is a mod I personally play with. It balances the Simple Storage buildings (building cost, item categories and stacks per building) and does a bunch of other stuff. I highly recommend using it, especially if you are using mods that increase stack size. No one needs one building that can hold 60 stacks if one stack is 500 items (and it's better for performance). That being said, IDS also patches some of the buildings in Simple Storage (size, position etc.) and it can look a bit weird with the new textures. I should have patched all that but there is always a chance I missed something, please leave a comment if you think something is wrong. If you end up using Integrated Deep Storage, it should be loaded before my mod.

Perspective: Buildings Just a great mod to have, no matter what other mods you use.
