Fushimi Inari-Taisha, located on Mount Inari in Kyoto, is the most important of tens of thousands of shrines dedicated to Inari, the Shinto deity of rice and harvests. This Shinto shrine is believed to have been constructed in 711 and became the object of imperial patronage during the Heian Period; legends say Emperor Junna fell into sickness as he ordered the cutting of a divine tree in Mount Inari, so he granted divine title to the deity and patronage to the shrine. The highlight of the shrine is Senbon Torii, literally thousands of torii gates, with entire trails lined by densely erected vermillion torii gates. These torii gates were donated by merchants and worshippers to show their gratitude for the blessings of the deity, and the custom dates back to the Edo Period.

Fushimi Inari-Taisha
Grants 3 free Builders. Unlocks the Builder ability to build the Torii Gates unique improvement. Must be built on Hills and you must have founded a Religion. +4 Food +4 Faith Unlocked at the Medieval Faires civic.

Torii Gates
Unlocks the Builder ability to build the Torii Gates improvement, unique to the civilization with the Fushimi Inari-Taisha wonder. +1 Culture. +1 Appeal. +2 Faith from each adjacent Torii Gates. +2 Culture if adjacent to a wonder or a natural wonder. +1 Culture if on or adjacent to Woods. Provides Tourism from Faith after researching Flight. Must be built in a line. Can be built in Woods.

This mod requires Gathering Storm and Rise and Fall.

Supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese.

Notes
  • Due to limitation of my 3D modeling skills, the wonder building is made with recombining assets. It is not based on any real life building, and acts rather as a virtual and abstract representation.
  • I do not permit re-uploading and redistribution of this mod.

They are randomly orientated. There is nothing I can do at the moment.

Is there any way to influence which direction the gates are oriented? I have some facing the way I want but others are facing horizontally, which is not ideal since the next closest gate is on the tile above. Looks a bit odd and is triggering OCD feelings lol. Love the wonder but don't understand how Civ 6 decides what direction things are to be oriented per tile. Hoping it's not fixed per tile

omg ty for new wonder it looks nice

I would just adjust this by changing it to +2 builders instead of 3. Idk 3 seems very powerful since you get a unique improvement no one else can get and the benefits of wonder and improvement are pretty good without the extra builder. Up to you I guess.
