Description
What Is This?

A minimod that allows the player to spawn with a beard. The chance to spawn with one will depend on the value set in the configuration file.

Settings

The settings will be found inside your server's profile folder under "SweetCaptnMinimods" inside "StartWithBeard.json". The settings are pretty much non existent, you can only set the chances for a player to spawn with a beard.

Options
  • StartWithBeardChance. The chance that a player will spawn with a beard.

Compatibility and Issues

Needs more testing. Make sure to report any issues and incompatibilities in the comments section or the discussions.

Installation

This mod only needs to be installed on the server. Install as usual, copying the mod into the server folder and including the mod's folder name in the "-mod" parameter of your server start file.

you could expand config to set the config chance by survivor**name*** for each of the male survivors? or maybe something that respawns you with the same hair/beard you died with maybe? for a little persistence?

@SweetCaptn Yeah I didn't think they support beards on females, but some people out there have created things that hit both male and female regardless of DayZ core, so I was just checking. I appreciate the feedback.

Noticed something cool about this mod. The dzExp AI/NPC's now have beards on occasion just like the freshies.
