SOG BRA | Force Recon ALiVE v1 (Dynamic Campaign)

Description
This is a combination scenario of Force Recon and Alive.

This takes the Dynamic AI tasking, path-finding, and commander actions from the ALIVE mod[alivemod.com] and combines it with Force Recon . This means you can continuously play on a dynamic scenario with the features of Force Recon.

This only uses the code and none of the Force Recon map placements. The placements are handled by the ALIVE commanders, which keeps the scenario dynamic.

REQUIRES ONLY ONE of the following either the DLC itself or the mod:

DLC: Arma 3 Creator DLC: Global Mobilization - Cold War Germany

Mod for non-DLC owners: Mod Link

This is the HEADLESS CLIENT VERSION for dedicated servers.

Known Issues and Workarounds:

- Once you spawn, enter a vehicle and click the blue circle at Maxwell field.
-This uses SOG ADVANCED REVIVE.
- Disable the Force Recon revive in the parameters menu. This can be done at the role selection screen.
- All Recon units are placed in the same squad to allow them to see the Force Recon page on the map.
- Pilots allow the Recon squad to spawn first.

- This scenario does not use the Force Recon extraction or insertion. Plan your own extractions and insertions.
- This scenario does not use the Force Recon AI placements. ALIVE handles all spawns to keep the scenario dynamic.
- This scenario uses Dynamic Camo System. Adjust the settings to your liking in the server options.
- The ALIVE Commanders are persistent; however, the Force Recon code needs a server restart to start a new OP.

AO-Situation:


This is Dynamic Alive, and Force Recon combination scenario. Enemy Commanders will adapt to your actions.
Below is a description of the AO, The scenario was built to reflect this as best as I can.
"The area was named "The Bra" for the distinctive shape of the river where Hwy 110 split to meet the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Hwy 96 which crossed The Bra was the main artery for supplies and troop movements for the NVA."

"The river curve where Highway 110 split eastward from the Ho Chi Minh Trail's major north-south route, Highway 96. Across The Bra flowed all NVA troops, supplies and weapons for South Vietnam's Central Highlands and Cambodia's northern half. Hidden in The Bra was the NVA's Binh Tram 37, a major base with stockpiles defended by masses of anti-aircraft guns, security battalions, and counter-recon units. Encompassing targets Juliet Nine, Hotel, India, and November Nine, The Bra was the hottest area in southern Laos".

To summarize, this is a vital section of the trial with plenty of support infrastructure to back it up.
The farther south you go, the more dangerous things will get, it wont be easy.

Alive Advanced Pathfinding:

AI will follow advanced waypoints and when moving between objectives, they will follow trails and roads, allowing you to set up ambushes if desired.
You can discover these routes through periodic dynamic intel updates or by recon.

Support:

Each S3 shack has 2 arsenals, one unrestricted (use ACE interact to access), and one for white-listed SOG DLC gear only.

Transport and CAS are on call using the Simplex mod. You require a radio to call them using ACE interact.
Use smoke to signal LZ locations.

You can skip time using the radio at the Bar.

CAS, Transport, and FAC aircraft are available at the marked vehicle spawners.

Mission:

Conduct patrols, look for installations, and gather intel on bodies. When you read the intel, it will temporarily show you the location of a hostile installation. Civilians can be interacted with and questioned, while automatic intel reports will be generated slowly.

Thanks for the heads up! Forgot to add MGI ADVANCED MODULES to the list like the other 2 maps. It is fixed now, all you have to do is load up the mod and it will work.

hey brother. I am receiving an error when i attempt to launch the server. Says its missing the vehicle class MGL Module HALO no longer exists. any input or help would be much appreciated. thanks
