HotFix for the ACOIAF Mod by Decamatus

Description
Do Not Subscribe to this Mod!! It's simply uploaded to bring awareness of a Fix to the "A Civ of Ice and Fire V1.1.0 Gathering Storm" Mod by @Decamatus for People who want to play with that Mod. Keep reading if you want to know how to do that. And don't worry, it's very simple ;) .


The "A Civ of Ice and Fire V1.1.0 Gathering Storm" Mod by @Decamatus doesn't work anymore, and its Author wasn't active since a long time now (Anyone in the Night's Watch seen him/her?), with many People awaiting the Prince that was promised.... The Winds of Winter!...hmm... requesting a Fix/Update to the Mod. Some Fans of the Mod have brought this to my Attention and requested a fix to the Mod, so I took some time and tried to bring it back to life (Melisande-Style, not NightKing-Style).

How to fix it:
ACOIAF can't be fixed via a Mod-Mod that People can subscribe to (except if reuploaded wholy), so a workaround for the fix is necessary.
In order to Fix that Mod, follow these Instructions, and the Winter will come:
  1. Subscribe to "A Civ of Ice and Fire V1.1.0 Gathering Storm" Mod by @Decamatus.
  2. Download This File[www.dropbox.com].
  3. Extract it and copy the Files in the Downloaded Folder "ACOIAF V1.1.0 GS Hotfix" to the "A Civ of Ice and Fire V1.1.0 Gathering Storm" Mod Folder in ...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\289070\964610932, and replace all the same files in that Folder.
  4. Valar Morghulis!!

Notes:
- All Credits should go to the original Author, @Decamatus.
- For more information on that Mod and how it works, please see its Steam Page.
- This Fix doesn't make any fixes to the original Mod, it simply makes it work. If you encounter any Bugs in that Mod, then it's from that Mod.
- The only change that this Fix makes, is remove the Line Infantry from the Units that can be built. However, the Trebuchet and Man-at-Arms Units introduced in NFP automatically work with that Mod (and seem kinda balanced).
- The Preview Pictures above are taken directly from the Original Mod's Steam Page.

If you did not play the original mod when it was 100% playable then unfortunately there is no way to use any of the custom maps with this hotfix at the moment - this fix allows the civs/houses/characters and custom content that came with the mod to be played on randomly generated maps.

I had lots of saves from when this mod originally worked on it's own, that I am able to reload and restart thanks to this hotfix, but new saves on the custom maps are not possible

This is only what I have found through my own testing - I absolutely love this mod and it's great to still be able to use the leaders and reuse old saves, but for anyone trying this mod for the first time; there are limitations.

Honestly, huge props to Zegangani for this hotfix - it restored part of the mod that made me love Civ. Would love to see this mod restored to it's former glory

for those who want to make it work, u need to replace every file seperatly, dont replace the whole folders

Essos/Westeros are TSL Maps and they don't seem to work with the current state of the original Mod. This Mod simply allows it to work on RNG Maps (such as Continents, Terra...etc.). Any other Bugs associated with the original Mod aren't fixed in this Mod.

Fixing the whole ACOIAF Mod would be too much work, at which point starting from scratch would be a better Idea anyway, and I'm not interested in the Mod myself to do that tbh. I simply made this Mod because of a Request.

I will leave this info here for anyone interested: If you want me to make a new version of ASOIAF, then I can only do that as a Commission. But since that would cost too much as it's Months of work and effort for me to do, you may start Crowdfunding if you want.

I'm so excited to see that someone has been working on a fix, I've been checking in ever since the original broke. I have these new files in and replaced but am getting a start-up error when selecting the ACOIAF ruleset and the Essos/Westeros map with all other mods/DLC disabled. Do I need the GS expansion to make this work currently?
