Description
BA Class 10, Tier 2, Unlock Level 12 - Reforged Eden - Vanilla possible

Primary roles: Space Station, Production, Farms, Storage, Solar, Docking, Modules, Utility, Upgradable

Quick Update 6/13/2023 - Fixed 2 air leaks in station. One in engineering, the other in the crew room area. I also connected an elevator to o2 in the central station area.

Quick Update 11/11/2023 - Somehow the blueprint picture was missing. I added it back to the blueprint. No other changes were made.

The Skaar-Svarog Station is a make shift space based production station cobbled together to help the Skaar process ores, craft new things, and feed their bellies as well as repair damaged ships. It also comes with several landing pads for smaller creations.

Vanilla Players - Do to the differences in CPU storage costs between vanilla and Reforged Eden, to get to the proper CPU in vanilla it will need 4 advanced CPU cores (Tier 4) and the single basic CPU block removed (Stock). Also Vanilla may or may not complain about the 24 installed solar panels as the solar panel limit in vanilla is 15 vs Reforged Eden at 24. Beyond that, no other changes should be needed nor does the base use any Reforged Eden specific parts.


Stock Features

The Svarog Station comes stock with 15 320K storage bays, locations to add in 6 additional 320K storage bays, 144 grow plot farm (grow plots not included), 2 advanced constructors, 3 small constructors, 1 furnace, full med bay, armor locker and repair, fridges and food processors, several landing pads, small crew area, 24 large solar panels, and 6 solar capacitors. It also has 2 Helios module bays and 1 Skaar module bay. (Bay 1 and 2 are Helios, bay 3 is Skaar). Also be sure when spawning to have the solar panels point at the local star for maximum solar power potential.

Upgrade options

The station can be upgraded to add 3 additional furnaces, 6 additional constructors/de-constructors, 2 additional 1x3 generators, repair bay and console, teleporter (assign to teleporter control), 3 additional small constructors, and 6 320K fill in style storage bays.

Offense and defense

The hull is built with carbon substrate and the interior is built with carbon substrate and container extensions. The station does not have any defenses and is meant to spawn into a safe space area.

Notes and tech specs:

This station was primarily built for Reforged Eden however can work in vanilla at a much higher CPU cost do to differences in storage costs. Also Vanilla's 15 solar panel limit may or may not cause this station to show in red when spawning as the station has 24 solar panels made for Reforged Eden specs.

Module bays 1 and 2 are for Helios type modules, Module bay 3 is for a Skaar type module.

On the lower space cat walk, there are 6 storage tanks each meant to fill with container extensions and then 1 container controller at the opening. If all these are filled in, you will gain an additional 6x 320K storage bays bringing the total to 21.

You will find both 1x3 generator upgrade slots in the engineering building. One in the lower main room, the other in the front hallway ceiling leading to the same room.

I LOVE THIS BUILD!

The only thing i wish you could do with it in Epyrion is use it AS a sub-orbital base. Like the one in Captain Scarlet, the Gerry Anderson Marination show!

But I guess you could create one from a CV? Just can't use things like the Furnace and Deconstructor.

Lovely Station. One suggestion. It may be beneficial to turn the solar panels 180 degrees to make alignment with the maximum available sunlight easier.

There is one tiny issue we've noticed on our end on the walkways where the shutters used to bridge the gap to the storage containers tend to close when walking over them, so the player crossing plummets down into space. Easily fixable by either adding them to a lever to keep the look or replacing with some walkway parts.
