Rome 2 Roman infantry to Attila Grand campaign for WRE and ERE - HD

DISCLAIMER::: This Mod features Assets that are graphically demanding

This is a port of most of the Rome 2 Grand campaign Roman faction infantry units
Obviously this isn't a mod going for historical accuracy for Attila time period, but the units are supposed to represent the Polybian legion, Marian era and Imperial Augustus era.

Units:
Hastati
Principes
Triarii
Legionaries
Legionary Cohort
Veteran Legionaries
Praetorians
First Cohort
Armored Legionaries
Evocati
Praetorian Guard
Eagle Cohort

These units may be a bit busted/OP statwise, but this is subject to change based on feedback, they are available to the Western Roman Empire and are recruitable in the infantry recruitment building 1-4. They should not be unkillable and should still be susceptible archers, archer cav, skirmishers, artillery, and cav charges to their back/flank.

This mod 'SHOULD' be save game compatible but haven't had the chance to test it.

They are using models that belong to Kagarino Kirie, Celticus and Leonardo the great, shout out to them for letting me use their awesome 3d assets in this mod. I will link to their steam pages at the bottom.

The units are very cool. In Rome 2 there is a problem with the artillery soldiers, they have black armor color with this mod. Could you solve it?

Lil thing for anyone wanting thoughts on this from a casual player, this mods great. There aren't names on the units but if you've played Rome II at all it's easy to tell whos who. None are really OP even in stats Because even against some of the weakest vanilla barbarian sword infantry they can still be overwhelmed by 2-3 units and lose that battle. It doesn't crash the game, there is progression so you don't just start with all these units. Only real criticism I have is the cost and upkeep is kinda high. But it is understandable due to the stats, which once again aren't overpowered but are higher than average.

I only tested them against Swordsmen (Cheapest and lowest I could find so they were extra weak) and they still took casualties which is just my way of proving that they aren't OP, BUT, add in AI using Missile and cavalry troops it makes them all feel well rounded and fitting in with other troops

To back you up on that too, many Praetorians and Praetorian guards were very corrupt. Where at one point they even assassinated Emperor Caligula in 41 AD (if I remember correctly)

@Kuronoshi209 hmm my reasoning for eagle cohort having higher stats is because usually there was only one eagle per legion and the legion held the eagle in very high regard so the eagle cohort in my own head logic would have the absolute best battle hardened legionaries with the best equipment plus fanatical devotion to protect the eagle at all cost.

Praetorians on the other hand were elite but wouldn't be as devoted or battle hardened as Legionaries protecting the sacred eagle.

Great mod! I'm gonna finish my Rome 2 Campaign with your similar mod and then continue it here, but I would like to point out that the stats of the Praetorians in this mod are actually lesser than the Eagle Cohort. Would it be okay to request a stats buff for them considering they were more skilled than regular legionaries? Only if it doesn't trouble you, of course! Thank you for this mod and the Rome 2 re-skin mod! It scratches an itch I've had for a very long time!:steamhappy::KneelingBow:
