A radio near the supplies is asking for help every minute or so. When you interact with it, they explain that them and a group of survivors are at the mall evacuation site. Since CEDA has abandoned them, a massive horde of zombies has them trapped inside. They plead that you distract the hordes so they can escape.
You have to then interact with Jimmy Gibs Jr's car, revving it and playing the survivor's shouting voice lines. If you want to keep the scavenge aspect of holdout, you can have the survivors need to refuel the car to keep pulling the zombies away from the evac site. At the end, the radio thanks you, and the players have to escape in the car.
I was very new to hosting servers on l4d2 I mainly just joined them.
The problem was that I had too many addons and the people trying to join just couldn't.
So I disabled almost all of my addons and typed "sv_consistency 0"
This for some reason worked. So I guess if people can't join your game because their loading bar dissapears then do what I said.
Thanks again Nakhglukbal for responding and making these great maps I'm sure my community will enjoy playing them!
Could you be more specific on how come the local host didn't work? did the server hasn't set up at all or others couldn't connect? can you local host a joinable server in other gamemodes? etc.
Try to follow the steps here https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5452-TASB-6078 and please do tell me whether the problem was solved or not.
