Anyway, I've been enjoying the new colours, I think only the pedestrian asphalt pass is missing, it makes it a little offputting with the darker gravel paths, but otherwise great stuff.

Change $SUNSPECULAR to:
$SUNSPECULAR 0.9305566 0.930556 0.930556 1.000000
helps with the snow glare.
It really is too much in the winter to be considered comfortable.
One thing though, something that bothers me the most is she flashy white winter, I know how its supposed to look but just hurts my eyes at that time.
Maybe its possible to make the snow a little bit darker, like how its supposed to be mixed with dirt and grass, grittier sort of, so it isn't that overpowering white?
