Prerequisites for BACKGROUND (I AM NOT the author of BACKGROUND):

- Download GCFScape (https://valvedev.info/tools/gcfscape/)

*You must extract the bik files from the vpk with GCFScape and replace the original l4d2_background files (don't forget to make a backup copy), otherwise the game will not work.



Installation:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Find the vpk file of the addon Workshop in *steam\steamapps\common\Left4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop*.
2) Open the vpk file in GCFScape and extract the menu background videos.
3) Copy or cut them out and replace the default L4D2 videos with them (don't forget to make a backup copy) in the media folder located at *X:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Left4 Dead 2\left4dead2\media*.
