The Murphy-Class Light Destroyer is a versatile and formidable warship designed for hit-and-run operations, as well as interdiction and ambush missions. Widely recognized for its extensive arsenal of weapons, its emphasis on offensive capabilities enables it to engage enemies effectively in various combat scenarios.

While it may lack the thick armor of its counterparts, the Murphy-Class compensates with its ability to swiftly strike and evade, exploiting its adversaries' weaknesses. Similar in compliment to the Arethusa-Class Frigate, the Murphy-Class' armament consists of 6 Redfields Ballistics Point Defense Cannons for missile defense & close quarters combat, 3 Torpedo Launchers providing long-range offensive capabilities, and 2 Keel Mounted T-47 Light Railguns; allowing the Murphy to punch above its weight class.
