However, it's important to note that when the vehicle is actively towing another vehicle, the fuel efficiency is slightly reduced to a medium level. Although the fuel drains a bit faster during towing operations, the decrease is not noticeable enough to significantly impact overall performance.

The crew of the TLZ-26M consists of three members: the driver, commander, and crane operator. The commander, equipped with a radio, monitors incoming calls for assistance, enabling quick response and coordination with other units on the battlefield.

With an automatic transmission system, the TLZ-26M facilitates smooth transitions between forward and reverse motion. This feature simplifies maneuvering, enabling precise positioning during recovery operations and making it easier for the driver to navigate challenging terrain.

The TLZ-26M is equipped with robust front and side armor, providing excellent protection to the crew and critical components. Additionally, the TLZ-26M is equipped with a robust crane capable of lifting a tank from its side. This capability is vital for recovering and repositioning damaged or disabled tanks, enabling the crew to efficiently perform their recovery duties.
