Grappling Hook (Mutator)

a janky grapple gun with lots of configuration

IF YOU ARE HAVING ANY PROBLEMS, DISABLE RAVENM SUPPORT IN THE MUTATOR CONFIG

A rundown of config variables:

Speedifier - controls various things relating to speed. set to a low value ie 0.4-5 for more a more tactical grapple

Pre-grapple UI - controls if the initial box hud is shown before grappling

Keybind - self explanatory

Cooldown - self explanatory

Wall Resistance and Distance - checks if the player's velocity is going into a wall, if so apply resistance aka drag

Gravity Counteract - vertical force that is increased over time, time being multiplied by counteract speed

Minimum Speed - when velocity has been reduced below this amount, set player back to normal

Release Multiplier - controls how much of the velocity is kept after releasing grapple

Vertical Force - static upwards force when grappling

Mod 1 and 2 - relates to clamping speed and max radian camera control respectively

RotateMod - controls the influence of the camera in velocity while grappling

Degrapple Distance - distance from hook location where the grapple automatically lets go. set to 0 or -1 to stick to
hook location

Grapple Distance - self explanatory

Ground Resistance - drag applied when on ground

Air Resistance - drag applied in air. set to 1 or higher to prevent flingings at high velocity, set low to turn the game into a movement shooter
