Italian 600 Series Submarine

Here is a 600 Series submarine of the Regia Marina.

These submarines were the Italian equivalent of the French 600-series, the British S-Class, and the German Type VII subs (they also provided the basis for the Santa Fe-class submarines, the first subs built for the Argentine Navy). The series was split up into five classes, the Argonauta-class, Sirena-class, Perla-class, Adua-class, and the Acciaio-class. All of these submarines saw service during World War 2 (with some of the earliest subs playing a small role in the Spanish Civil War). Out of the 59 submarines built, 48 of them were lost in the war.
