M3a1 Stuart

The M3 Stuart; Named by the British after Confederate General James Ewell Brown Stuart, is a Family of Light Tanks designed by the U.S. Army Ordnance Department. It was supplied to British Commonwealth forces under lend-lease prior to the entry of the U.S. into the war, and saw service with US Forces after they entered. The Stuart also saw lend lease with the USSR.
The Stuart was used on all major fronts by allied forces until the end of the war. Postwar they continued to see use in multiple conflicts, including the Football War. As of 2014, 10 remain operational by the Paraguayan Army, making it one of the Oldest Tanks still in Active Millitary service.
