Description
Once, you had everything you wanted at your fingertips in the luxury of a cruise ship. Now, that cruise ship has sank, and you must fend for yourself. Your Caribbean cruise takes a turn for the worse when the boat is swept with a wave of heat before being plunged into the depths of the unusually hot water. It's difficult to survive a deserted island; especially when you happen to find an occult one.

With 12 endings, 70 aspects, and hundreds of new cards, this mod allows you to play as a shipwreck survivor in the Evening Isles. This mod is as different from the base game as Exile is, with an entirely new legacy that allows you to pursue the 8 ascensions without being stuck to one - no Dedications limit you!

A unique mechanic is the Choice cards, which add the ability for you to select certain choices when performing Rituals, as well as customizing your background (by selecting your previous job, familial relations, and purpose for venturing on the boat in the first place).

Explore the Ruins on the island, delve deep into the caverns below, and search for secrets among the other islands around. The horizon is your boundary. You'll never lose your place in the Sea-Caves or the Ruins, unlike vaults, and island explorations are short, one-challenge ordeals.

Petition the Hours in unique rituals with three paths from various shrines around the island; and they will listen, because of how unique the place you found really was.

There are 19 achievements to earn as well, if you care about that sort of thing.

Featuring art (with permission, of course) from Sneakworks and the Mariner team.

Note: any similarity between the ascensions of this mod and the ascensions of the Mariner mod are completely coincidental. I had came up with them before I had played Mariner.

I hate doing this, but...does anyone know what you're supposed to do to finish off the Exploration temptation? I've gotten the Closed Eye mark from the Laughingthrush, but the finishing the map still requires a card with the Unmapped Location aspect, and I have no idea where to go from here.

For some reason my game crashes every time I add this to my load order, I have about a dozen other legacy mods and none of them seem to have this problem.

After wrestling this mod to submission in at least three different ways, gently passing by three others I could have achieved on the way to that dedication... gotta say it's pretty damn great. A bit of feedback:

I have a number of complaints and possible suggestions on how it could be better, but one might say I wouldn't have those in the first place unless I liked the game and wanted it better. Heck, I might imagine people making mods to this mod just to do such corrections.

BUT, overall... this here be a solid mod worthy of praise. it can keep one busy for DAYS and it's decently balanced. At times it can kill you on a whim, but if you know what to do you can turn a bad thing into an unstoppable victory march. I'd put it on par with the exile DLC from its mechanics and content, as well as open direction. Some flaws here and there, but one can always expand... or improve.

Just Deletd my previous comment concerning the Revenge Temptation, there was no bug but the game just gave a wrong hint in that regard, everything working as it should.

So, final verdict: Awesome mod, highly recommend it. And there seems to be enough room for possible expansions to this mod - should the author ever consider this, I would be quite happy

It looks great! Unfortunately, there is no Chinese, and my English level is not enough for me to play easily.

I like the mod quite a bit, but the vitality-draining events are far too common for me to even do anything other than rest and search for food- and this is compounded by the fact that regaining vitality takes so long.

Ah... found the Thunderskin ritual (Heart in the Ruins); that makes things much easier!

I find that I have to spend most of my "Mind" time resting, simply to keep up with the random wounds from the passage of time. I think unavoidable wounds should be used a lot more sparingly, since they take so long to heal.
