Description
Update: a new version of this mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3301353081 has been uploaded on workshop after playtesting this mod alongside updating my other ones for many, many hours- the old version is still here for those interested (especially because firebringer has made a compat. patch for it for Iron Hands Faction). Also, both mods are not compatible with each other, so choose 1 or the other.


Alright ladies and mother****** (if you get this reference, you are a gigachad)! Due to popular demand I have released (after hours of coding and troubleshooting over a few weeks) a new eco and macro focused hero known as Chapter Master. There is no codex for this guy, so I have taken some "creative liberties" to his abilities that would make the game fun. There has been a lot of talk of SM lategame being dogwater (production, FoR, etc), this lategame hero will hopefully help it be less dogwater (and also promote a more macro focused build). I don't believe this is multiplayer balanced (and due to the nature of this hero probably will almost never see it in multiplayer anyway), but it is certified "bussin" in 1 or 2 v 6 impo+ AI teamed games, where the games are 100+ turns long and you start seeing gargants and tyrannosaurus rexes everywhere.

Here is the wall of text:
Chapter Master: SM captain stats but has Termie skin, has termie armor, plasma pistol (acc 12) and thunder hammer, only 2 movement, very bulky, unique. Needs Orbital Relay research. NO ITEM SLOTS for balance reasons but do comment if you want this to be changed.
Cost:

Req: 50, 5 upkeep
Energy: 50, 5 upkeep
Influence: 100, 10 upkeep
PRODUCTION: 84 (oh man your reclusium is gonna be hella busy, 2x cost of a Chaplain)

Drop Pod Deploy cost: 100 influence


Abilities:
Call down logistics camp: 150 influence, 9...6...3 CD
Calls down a terrain feature that gives +40% pop growth when acquired. Also gives adjacent terrain +40% requisition buff (WOW!!!11one).
Note: Was a bug for the longest time, but after playing around with it this is now a feature; placing the logistic camp down on a city tile with at least one building on it will give that tile "infinite building space" with no bonuses. Pretty borken, but consider it an additional reward for building the CM.

Call down Macrocannon: 240 influence, 9...6...3 CD
Calls down an Aquila Macrocannnon, no research to macrocannon tech required (please give feedback on this in discussions box).

Call down Veteran Space Marines: 40 energy, 40 requisitions, 80 influence. 3...2...1 CD
Calls down a unit of either Tacticals, Assaults, Apothecaries or Terminators- but with a couple of very spicy twists. I'll let you discover them yourselves :)

Ulti: Calldown Fortress of Redemption (300 influence, 3 cd)
What everyone wanted: FoR ulti for Command Rhino. What everyone got: SM macro hero.




Suggested Serving:
This hero is certainly tailored for the late game; it is expensive production wise, so ideally you need to invest your reclusium into building this hero after you ideally built other SM heroes you need (AKA it ends up being optimal to get this hero after other heroes), and because his movement is so slow he ideally needs a land raider/stormraven to get around and put down units/features/fortifications everywhere, which is definitely something you don't want to do early game. If you do choose to get them early to mid game however, although it is possible if you are in a fine spot militarily, you may end up leaving the CM "idle" due to him being underleveled due to his movement, high influence cost for his actions and his high drop pod cost (and he's not cheap to keep on the field, either) so you tend to get more bang for your buck l8 game when you can put him in a box and drop pod him cheaper, or he comes out higher levelled so you can take advantage of using more abilities more frequently instead of idling.

Again, his abilities cost a substantial amount of influence too, so this is definitely a way to spend your 5k+ influence bank you get from space marine captains after killing an obelisk or 2- and due to the way they work (you'll see what I mean) you will get the most bang for your buck l8 game when your base is established and pumping things out, especially if you choose to go for orbital relay building.

Also, although the units that come from this hero are sick, please note that they are best used when you are already pumping out units from an apothecarium every turn and can't pump out any more, as they are very tile efficient but not necessarily cost efficient despite how good they are (ex: 1 vet tac. marine is probably less useful, especially early game, than 4 tac. marines). That said, play how you want.
