Battletech Map - Pirates in the Woods

There is an extensive pirate presence on this forested world, and your unit has been tasked with knocking out one of their outposts. Your allies will be hitting other locations at the same time, so strike fast and hard!
I made this map to play more of a scenario than a typical straight battle. I ran the pirate base and gradually added units to the map coming out of the hanger, while the new players I was introducing to the game worked their way towards the base. They had a strong reinforced lance, while the initial enemies were lights and a small tanks, gradually ramping up. It made for very engaging objective play and was a great intro to the game!
Of course, you'll play it your own way - do what you like! I will note that it's a great place to try out turrets too - what pirate base wouldn't have a couple?

As a side note - I've made a modified version of this map, linked below as Rubble in Paradise. Less base, more ruins!
