Chepstow, UK (Vanilla + Mass Transit)

Description
This is a vanilla map (+Mass Transit for the two-way highway) Inspired by the area around the town of Chepstow, Wales, at the confluence of River Wye and River Severn and near the mouth of the latter, flowing into the Bristol Channel.

ABOUT THE AREA:
The map is 2/3 Wales and 1/3 England, as the river Wye is the border between Monmouthshire, and Glocestershire. The town of Chepstow sits just under 30 miles northwest of Bristol and about 16 miles east of Newport. It is the easternmost settlement in Wales, and home to one of the oldest surviving stone castles in the UK - built around the time of the Norman conquest in the 11th century.

ABOUT THE MAP:
This is my very first published map. It's not a 1:1 recreation but largely based on the heightmap and satellite image of the area. I've included some of the main roads - M48 and The Severn Bridge, The A48 that cuts across town by the castle and bridges into England (and the towns of Tutshill and Sedbury), and the A466 that travels east along the river Wye. I excluded the M4 and the Prince of Wales brigde at the very western edge of the map as they were unimportant for gameplay given the location.

The map is light on detail, but I've tried to create the impression of farmland and the rural coastline.

No subscriptions required, though I'd recommend a custom theme and LUT. The screenshots are taken with the Realistic European 1.4.5 theme and the Realistic 1.2 LUT. I've found that the Laviante 2.1 theme works quite well too -- especially if you're not into the rocky river side cliffs :) ... Base theme is European.

Would be happy for any feedback. And do let me know if you find any issues with the map. Enjoy!

Thank you nonetheless!

@coochmuncher69 - I did consider that, but I was worried that for people not playing with 81 tiles, the national roads (which won't be upgradable) will create a traffic nightmare ... that being said, you might be right

I love this map.

But WHY did you not make it 4x outside connecitons with the 4 roads that meet together for the roundabout?!?!?! that would have been perfect, 4 national roads running off opposite sides of the map conjoining near the middle. Missed opportunity IMO

@tramter - I agree. Not sure about other areas. I've always like the landlocked river valleys. Looked at Worcester, Shrewsbury and couple of others. CS2 is near though...

I always love a UK map. I had started to make a map of this area this time last yest but never completed it, so it's great that you can publish this landscape on the workshop!
