Devil weaponsmiths are known for making cursed weapons.They are tied to Undeads hiding behind the Curtain,and picking them up can make them surface.

Intel:
Cursed weapons are traditionally put under mirrors.
Whether or not picking them up are wholly depending on your choice.Just beware,sometimes they might worsen the situation.
