[SP]Donovian Incursion 1 - Rangers Lead The Way ON HIATUS

Rangers from Ghost company are ready to strike decisive blows to the Donovian invaders and separatist militias to pave the way for an amphibious invasion to liberate the occupied Democratic Republic of Gorgas.

This is the first part in a series of missions set in the universe of the US Army Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE). I thought the setting was very interesting, so I wanted to make a series of missions inspired by the ARMA 2 campaign mixed with elements from Ghost Recon various other inspirations.

The campaign will feature several different characters and types of scenarios to get a full sense of scale for the invasion. Future missions will include different aspects of war like: amphibious landings, mechanized warfare, tank combat, helicopter support, spec-ops, sniping behind enemy lines, infantry skirmishes etc.

This mission has a lot of dialogue to immerse the player in the scenario and characters, so I hope you like it. I also put effort into writing the briefings so the player understands the setting a bit more. If you haven't realised it, in DATE Donovia is supposed to be Russia and Gorgas is Georgia. The shape of Chernarus doesn't actually fit on Georgia's coast, but we'll look away from that.
