Zeeb's Ships

Description
This is a ship pack containing all my custom ships that have been battle tested and proven effective. Below is a list of all the ships it currently contains, the pack will be continuously updated.

Reaper (Starter)
A devastating starter ship, not for the practicing pacifist.

Total Cost: 69,700 units
Max Forward Speed: 93,0 m/s
Max Backward Speed: 93,0 m/s
Max Strafe Speed: 35,3 m/s
Weapon(s): 1x Ion Beam Emitter
Defense(s): -

The superior range of the Ion Beam Emitter against most weapons in combination with the high speed will prove a tough competition against your enemy. Be mindful of faster ships or weapons with greater range such as missiles, as they are your direct counter and should be avoided. Thus, recommended future upgrades to prioritize are more/bigger thrusters and point defenses.

Another bonus that the Ion Beam Emitter possesses is the relatively low damage at maximum range, which means you have a high chance to just disable ships instead of outright destroying them, giving you an easier time assembling a fleet.

Dakka (Starter)
Wrath, pure and unstoppable.

Total Cost: 70,172 units
Max Forward Speed: 93,2 m/s
Max Backward Speed: 24,0 m/s
Max Strafe Speed: 4,8 m/s
Weapon(s): 2x Large Cannon
Defense(s): -

The Large Cannon is a great offensive weapon, not only due to the sheer destructive force in form of damage and penetration, but also due to the 21,000 hitpoints they have. Now put two of these bad boys at the front of the ship and you'll have a serious obstacle for your enemies to get through. This ship is basically the opposite of the Reaper, relying on armor and frontal brawling as opposed to speed and range. However, the strafe speed of the ship is extremely low and the sides and back completely exposed, so do not get flanked. It is basically a space tank.

While the Reaper have a higher chance of capturing ships to add to its fleet, the Dakka will however have a very low chance of capturing ships since they will most likely be reduced to mere scrap by just a few shots and the Large Cannons eats ammo like a fat kid does cake. Meaning you will be spending more time going back and forth to the stations to resupply.

Immortal (Starter)
Starter ship which values its safe space.

Total Cost: 70,200 units
Max Forward Speed: 93,2 m/s
Max Backward Speed: 35,8 m/s
Max Strafe Speed: 21,9 m/s
Weapon(s): 1x Laser Blaster, 1x Disruptor
Defense(s): 2x Small Shield Generator

As the name suggests, you can never go wrong having a ship with two shield generators. When one of the shields go down, you still have the other. This ship excels in attrition combat due to its superior defense, it does however come at the cost of having weaker offense. The trick to this ship is to know when to use the Disruptor, it is weak against armor but great against shields and disabling exposed parts that rely on power.

It is also rather fast, mainly due to only having minor armor at the front. It is also relatively good at disabling ships without destroying them so assembling a fleet should not prove too difficult, especially since it rarely needs to be repaired.

More ships to come..
