Description

Using the Better Mechanics: Production Mod, you can take full advantage of your industry to pump out the tools of war you need, build a historical amount of equipment, and sustain your offensives for far longer. Are you tired of you or the AI running out of infantry equipment only 3 weeks after the beginning of your offensives? Want to make a realistic large-scale operation or diversify the equipment you want to outfit your army with? Then this mod is for you.

"I think the scaling cost is logical, it's harder to expand the economy after it's already highly developed
the way it works in this game by default is very silly, someone with twice as many civ factories literally just expands twice as fast industrially
that's not how it would logically work
logistics get exponentially more difficult the wider the scale becomes
or else the Soviet Union wouldn't have had so many issues with their central planning projects, heh"
- Rahnu, EAW Discord Server

  • Raised by 65% the military factory output to account for realistic production numbers of tanks, aircraft, and land equipment (raised to 7.5 from 4.5)
  • Raised by 60% the naval dockyards output from 2.5 to 4
  • For balance, rebalance the petroleum consumption of air, land, and sea military equipment; you should watch out for oil shortages!
  • For Further balance, added a Unit Upkeep attrition cost like other paradox games to simulate the need for replacement parts and other maintenance costs to stop you or the AI from spamming too much (it is a fixed 3% attrition)
  • Added AI defines and strategies to manage its production more efficiently depending on their industry size Will be moved to Divisional AI for maximum compatibility
  • Added a new economy status mechanic which will put maintenance cost to your factories and help with late-game snowballing of factories (You can turn it off in the game rules now)
  • Added a resource consumption mechanic for civilian factories. Now they will use chromium, oil, and steel at an exponential rate (You can turn off this feature in the game rules)
