Made in limited number during the Twelfth Kuuranian War, this tank was used to great effect by the Arektion Coalition in stopping the advance of Mathian forces during the Battle of Waterloo.
Affectionately known as the Herrpe by troops, the presence of Herrpes along ally troops changed the tide of battle, boosting morale.
The combination of two-axis gun stabilization, a 25mm autocannon, and a coaxial machinegun, all on a quick and agile platform, proved to be the most effective counter to the enemy's slow moving heavy tanks.
Enemy units slow to react would be caught off guard and circled by Herrpes.
Herrpes were not susceptible to the low-caliber fire of infantry, yet proved to move too fast for anti-tank rifles and rocket launchers.
As the victors of war, the Arektion Coalition still touts that the Herrpes were the best and most effective vehicle of their time. And that the victory of the war itself can be credited to Herrpes and the soldiers with them.
