[TEST] Advanced Fixture Control

Description
TESTING VERSION
Only subscribe to one version of AFC!
This is the testing version of Advanced Fixture Control. It's used for testing new features and additions and may contain glitches and car breaking bugs. If you subscribed in error or don't want test things, please subscribe to the stable version.
Advanced Fixture Control allows you to select multiple fixtures, move them around, create and save/load groups, and more.
Advanced Fixture Control allows you to select multiple fixtures, move them around, create and save/load groups, and more.

!!WARNING!!
This mod is experimental. I'd highly recommend actively saving your cars while building if you're using this mod. You can view known bugs below.

Usage
To open the GUI:
  1. Open the Advanced Trim Settings menu
  2. Go to the Misc tab
  3. Scroll down, there should be a section that says "Mod Widgets" with a dropdown
  4. The option "Advanced Fixture Control" should already be selected. If not, select it
  5. Click the "Open AFC" button

To activate group mode, press Ctrl+G key or click the toggle button. With the group mode active:
- To select multiple fixtures, hold the control key and click fixtures to add or remove them from the current selection.
- Double left click in open space or press the control and D keys to quickly deselect all fixtures, or click the "Clear" button.
- Pressing the control and A keys will select all fixtures.

Change log for version beta_0.7.0
  • AFC now supports Al Rilma alpha/beta. The window will no longer hide itself when it thinks it's not on the correct fixture screen
  • Added autosaves
  • - Time interval based with options for 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 30 minute intervals
  • - Pre-transform based where it will save before attempting to move selected fixtures Note: this saves after the main selected fixture has already moved.
  • - Both have options for 0-50 total autosaves per trim before overwriting
  • - Autosaves are stored in
    \AppData\Local\AutomationGame\Saved\UserData\AFC_AutoSaves
  • Added a cancel button for transforms that take too long. Note: If you're trying to move 2D fixtures off the car it can sometimes have issues verifying. Canceling is useful in these situations.
  • Fixed transforms failing to verify in most cases
  • Fixed fixtures becoming permanently locked when a transform failed
  • Fixed AFC locking up if a transform failed
  • Fixed AFC not recognizing right shift and right control
Change log for version beta_0.6.2
  • Fixed state changes (mirror, 3D, lock) working with groups.
Change log for version alpha_0.6.1
  • Fixed AFC not working with 2D fixtures.
Change log for version alpha_0.6.0
  • Added toggle to reenable local saves UI, will soon be redone
  • Added Edit/Select menus
  • - Able to copy/paste in place, as well as quick access buttons for select all, deselect all, and invert selection
  • Added debug log settings and cleaned log output
  • - Repeated messages will combine, able to set a shown threshold
  • Added how-to section in the opener
  • Replaced transform queue with smoother and more representative transforms
  • - Should fix several known issues
  • Removed material selection for now

Current known bugs:
  • Transforming multiple fixtures and immediately going into the photo mode can explode cars. There is no solution I can implement, this is a limitation of the core game. Please wait 30-60 seconds after transforming before opening photo mode.

Anyway to use global saves for fixture groups?

@Warren Boofit The two versions are currently matching, but when there are updates they will go to this testing version first for validation. If you want to make sure the mod is always as stable as possible, I recommend using the other version.

First off I know this is steam so I'm obligated to instead make a garbage non constructive comment, but I'd just like to say this has been one of, if not the biggest game changer for quickly building cars. ESPECIALLY in instances where you have two identical car models, of different wheelbase lengths, it makes it sooo much easier to transfer interiors instead of working to recreate it.
Second, is it recommended to subscribe to this test version over the current AFC? Or is the reliability to function ratio not quite there yet?

I can't really think of a time I'd ever need to select multiple parts
