Description
Here is the Britannic and Georgic, the last ships built for the White Star Line!

Britannic was originally ordered as a running mate for the RMMV Oceanic (and a replacement for the Big Four-Class). When Oceanic was cancelled, White Star Line ordered a ship to replace the Oceanic and serve along side the Britannic, the Georgic. She was essentially a scaled down version of Oceanic, and her design inherited many of Oceanic's design features. They were the largest motor ships in Britain at the time, and the last ships completed for the White Star Line before they merged with their rivals Cunard Line. The 2 ships proved very profitable for the White Star Line due to their low operating costs. After the Cunard merger, both ships continued to serve with the company, flying both White Star and Cunard flags. When WW2 broke out, they were converted into troopships. Georgic participated in bring troops back for Norway and France, and would later participate in operations in Mediterranean. In July of 1940, while docked in Port Tewfik, Egypt, she was bombed and sunk by German aircraft. Despite the heavy damage she sustained during the raid, she was later salvaged, rebuilt, and returned to troopship service in 1944. After the war, Georgic was used by the British Government to repatriating troops, civilians and prisoners of war, and was later used as an migrant ship, transporting emigrants to Australia and New Zealand. She continued her service in this role until 1956 when she was retired and scrapped. Unlike Georgic, Britannic would be refitted an modernized for passenger service after the war. She continued to sail for Cunard-White Star, and continued to sail for Cunard Line until she was replaced by the RMS Sylvania and scrapped in 1961, becoming the last White Star Line ship in service.

Includes Britannic, Britannic (post WW2), Georgic, and Georgic's wartime/post war refit.

One has an extended B deck promenade (the pre-war WSL version), and the other has an enclosed promenade (the first picture, the post-war Cunard version).

Yep, I managed to do a proper Britannic edit (that's why I reuploaded this since I couldn't change the thumbnail).
